Its been a-while but latest noise problems is damn avantgarde and we love it. Check out the improv session with Hugo Antunes, Carlos Zingaro & Miguel Mira on contrabass, violin and cello live at Guilherme Cossoul in Lisboa. It was Nervo series #10
These are some snippets of what was going through the OCCII between 2002 - 2009. The OCCII has a long history of existing as a self-sustainable independent venue. It provides a stage for the underground and radical music acts and its run almost entirely by volunteers. Each volunteer helps the venue in one way or another. In its 20-plus years of existence, OCCII has offered a diverse program while remaining cheap to attend.
"All tracks were found in the OCCII. Recorded directly off the board or with a mic & some tracks we just dont know. Thanks to all bands & tontechniker and special thanks to A. De Boer and Roro for mixing!"
Rather than "Top [insert number] Best Albums of 2015" we've decided to take a different angle. Rather than ranking tracks or adding unnecessary 'clout' to specific albums, artists, or songs, we're sharing these in no particular order. You can decide which ones you like best! This is the final mix of 2015 retrospective blends, so gear up for our regularly scheduled programming.
Now, a bit about this mix, and who made it: This playlist was created by one of our most avid mix-makers, LizB (also a WFMU DJ and podcaster extraordinaire). These are fifteen choicest bits, culled from her impressive megamix of more than 100 songs from 2015, which you can find here! Every week, Liz shares a selection of her new faves from the constantly-updating "Recently Added" queue on FMA.
Liz shared with us her methodology for finding her new favorite tunes on FMA on Radio Free Culture's 39th episode, "Inside LizB's Playlist Labyrinth."
Tune in using our handy sidebar player or check out the playlist page. Hooray!
